WELCOME

‘The Room – Psy’ is a research and discussion page about everything psychology, health, and well-being. It is an interactive platform for sharing information and pitching ideas so to encourage new thought, debate and conversation to inspire positive change and provide information to those wanting to learn about topics across social science disciplines such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, criminology, research methods, and therapeutic practice etc. Predominantly, ‘The Room – Psy’ shares research into psychopathology concerning analytical, scientific and philosophical debates regarding the causes, characteristics, and treatments of various mental disorders to eliminate stigma, educate, and increase societal awareness so to make for a more harmonious and accepting future.

We also host an area called ‘The Green Space’ - an extension of ‘The Room – Psy’ - the garden leading off from the “therapist’s office”, if you will. The Green Space offers you a broader assortment of content, fresh and varied for you to pick through like blossoms on branches. Here you can explore topics outside of psychology and mental health and instead dive into the metaphysical, spiritual and esoteric aspects of the body and mind. The choice topics you can find here relate to more natural pleasures and philosophies such as the conceptualisation and understanding of Gaia, the powers of the universe, well-being, mindfulness, spirituality, health and diet, personal development, the law of attraction, manifestation, environment and more.

Above all else, ‘The Room –Psy’ provides topic-points to trigger inquisitive thought and intrigue about what makes us tick as humans and the nature of YOU. To further support this agenda, we also share well-being challenges, volunteering opportunities, activism movements, and charities you can get involved in and support in our ‘I Want More’ section.

To bring you this free, fabulous and varied content, we host several ‘Featured Writers’ and guest writers from across the globe, from various backgrounds, with unique interests, passions, and specialisms; who contribute some amazing articles, real-life stories, discussion points and personal musing’s.
