It all begins with an idea, and then,

a decision.

Maybe you want to launch a new version of yourself. Maybe you want to close a chapter on a bad experience and transform your life into something more. Or maybe you’re finally ready to make peace with a hard goodbye – to a relationship, a phase of life, or an identity.

You've arrived here because somewhere inside, you're ready to turn your life into your most powerful creative project yet.

When you tell your story, you transform shame that once held you back into strength that moves you forward.

Are you ready?

you’re not broken, you’re becoming.

Hello! I’m Sam.

I’m an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, MBACP, Founder of ‘The Room – Psy, and a passionate advocate for inclusive, stigma-free mental health care.

With a BSc in Applied Psychology and an EPQ in Personality Disorders, my professional background spans across psychology, research, frontline mental health work, and crisis support within both youth services and adult street homelessness. These experiences, along with my specialised counselling training, shape the compassion, respect, and depth of care I offer to every client today. I integrate this diverse expertise into a therapeutic space that is anything but clinical - it’s human, warm, and deeply attuned to your unique journey.

At the heart of my work is The Room – Psy’, a pioneering mental health platform I founded to create a compassionate “third space” - one that moves beyond the polarised narratives of health and illness, and instead honours the complexity, vulnerability, and resilience of real life. This space is more than just therapy; it’s a sanctuary for growth, curiosity, and connection - and you’re invited.

How I work:

My approach blends evidence-based psychological principles with a person-centred, relational philosophy. Sessions are led by you - your goals, your pace, your truth - while I walk alongside you with empathy, patience, and care. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity questions, or just feeling lost, you’ll be met without judgment or pressure. Come as you are.

In our first meeting, we’ll explore what brought you here and how I can best support you. If we continue, we’ll do so with regular check-ins to ensure you’re feeling heard, safe, and empowered to evolve. I view therapy as a purposeful act of self-respect - an investment in your freedom, authenticity, and emotional well-being.

I offer online therapy through secure video calls. If face-to-face sessions are preferred, I can also offer sessions at the ‘Worthing Osteopathic & Wellbeing Clinic’.

What I Can help with:

I work with a broad range of experiences, including but not limited to:

Abuse | Addiction | Anxiety | Attachment Issues | Confidence | Death Anxiety | Deprivation & Neglect | Depression | Domestic Violence | Eating & Body Image Concerns | Exploitation (including County Lines) | Familial Conflicts | Familial Sexual Abuse | Financial Stress | Grief | Homelessness | Identity Development | Incarceration & Institutionalisation Effects | Infertility | LGBTQ+ Experiences | Motivation | Suicide | Self-harm | Motivation | Narcissistic Abuse | Personality Disorders | Psychosis | Self-empowerment | Serious & Terminal Diagnoses | Sexual Abuse | Significant Life Events | Social Anxiety | Spirituality | Stress | Trauma | Workplace Stress.

My practice is LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity affirming, and I will always signpost or refer when additional or specialist care is needed - your safety and access to appropriate support are paramount.

Above all, therapy with me is about creating a space where you feel prioritised, emotionally held, and empowered to live in alignment with your truest self. You're not broken - you're becoming. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honoured to walk with you.

I offer a range of fee options to ensure therapy is accessible and tailored to different needs and locations.

My fees vary (spanning £50 - £110) depending on factors like location, access to services, and affordability to ensure therapy remains accessible while reflecting local demand and living costs. If you have questions about which fee applies to you, I’m happy to discuss this directly.

Limited Reduced Fee Spots:

I’m dedicated to making therapy accessible and offer a limited number of reduced-fee places (£40 - £65) for students, lower-income clients, and NHS workers. These spots are carefully managed to ensure fairness while continuing to provide support to those who need it most.
