I’m an integrative counsellor, therapeutic journaling facilitator, and author of ‘Fear to Love - An Inner Journey Home’ (available on Amazon). My work focuses on women’s emotional wellbeing, and I offer counselling online across the UK and in person in Belfast. I also provide counselling in GP surgeries and for Counselling All Nations, a charity working with members of the BAME community. With over 17 years in the wellbeing field, I weave together counselling, journaling, and trauma-informed approaches. I also facilitate journaling courses across Northern Ireland and love creating resources such as guided journals and reflective card decks for adults and children.

Originally from Zimbabwe, I moved to New Zealand in my early twenties and later made a home in Northern Ireland. These journeys, along with my own path of healing and a deep empathy for the human experience, shape the way I walk alongside women as they navigate relationship struggles, stress, self-esteem, mother–daughter dynamics, and times of transition.

I’m especially drawn to the themes of identity, belonging, and the impact of early primary relationships. Away from counselling and writing, I’m mother to a wonderful teenage daughter. I’m a country girl at heart, and you’ll often find me in nature, horse riding, or capturing moments with a camera.

Looking ahead, my goals include continuing to develop my work as a counsellor and pursuing a masters. I also hope to contribute to grassroots mental health initiatives in Africa and write a second non-fiction book.

In contributing to ‘The Room - Psy’, I am particularly interested in ‘The Green Space’ section. I aim to write on themes related to identity, belonging, parenting, mindfulness, life as an empath, the power of awareness, and life transitions.
