Cordelia Simmons

I’m a London-based writer working in essays and creative-critical hybrid forms, often at the intersection of personal narrative, feminist theory, and cultural reflection. I have recently completed an MA in Creative Writing although my relationship to storytelling began much earlier - my first story was written at age 7, from the perspective of a strawberry eraser I carried in my pocket!

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed lens and a curiosity about how we navigate, care, healing, and survival. While not from a clinical background, I write from lived experience and a commitment to telling deeper stories about emotional life. For ‘The Room - Psy’, I hope to share work that bridges the personal and political, the scientific and the spiritual, and the individual with the collective.
