A mystical flat lay on a bed with a black notebook with gold esoteric designs, tarot cards, a small vial, a wooden tool with moon and star carvings, a black crystal, a bowl with smudged sage tied with string, a candle in a decorative holder, and a patterned cloth with star designs.

Michelle Smith

I am a deeply empathic and intuitive Person-Centred Counsellor who creates spaces where people feel truly safe, heard and seen. Often described as a ‘safe space’, my empathy wraps around clients like a soft blanket, helping them share stories they once thought they could never voice. I work primarily with women who have experienced childhood sexual trauma and passionately advocate for better support for men in sexual trauma and mental health – areas still too often overlooked.

With nearly 40 years of diverse work experience, I knew that I was destined for more. Four and a half years ago, I began training as a counsellor, earning my CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – a journey that transformed my life. My relational, non-clinical approach is client-led, at your pace, in your truth.

I blend compassion with intuition, drawing on my love for tarot, oracle cards, and gift of claircognisance. I am a lifelong learner, a lover of books and moonlit walks. Having faced lived-experience of rock-bottom, I speak with honesty, hope and dry wit, proof that even in life’s messiest moments, you can rise again, stronger and unapologetically yourself.
